Best cards to pair with Cancel in Foundations limited
Flash creature that benefits from casting noncreature spells like Cancel. You can hold up Cancel and if they don't cast anything worth countering, flash in the Adept.
Vigilance flyer that can attack while you hold up Cancel mana. The looting ability helps you find answers while maintaining countermagic.
Both are instants that allow you to hold up mana efficiently. If they don't cast something worth countering, you can Think Twice instead to dig for answers.
