Vote for the best Limited cards — in one short video
We put together a quick video showing exactly how the Limited Set Review works on MTG Picker: pick the best cards of a set, color by color, and see how your picks compare to everyone else's.
What the Limited Set Review actually is
For any supported set, you pick the 3 best commons, the best uncommon, and the best rare or mythic — for each of the five colors. That's 25 cards per review. Multicolor and colorless cards don't get a slot on purpose: the point isn't to build a deck, it's to compare picks apples-to-apples against everyone else who reviewed that set.
Every review can be made public, and public reviews feed the Community Ranking — how often each card got picked for its slot, as a percentage of all the reviews submitted for that set.
How to vote
- Open the Card Picker and switch to the "Best of the set for Limited" tab.
- Pick a set from the dropdown at the top.
- Click an empty slot — the card gallery below filters itself to exactly that color and rarity.
- Click a card in the gallery to drop it into the slot. Repeat until all 25 slots are full.
- Optionally, write a line on why you picked what you picked, and make sure "Include my review in the community ranking" is checked if you want it public.
- Hit Save my review.
See how your picks stack up
Once you've saved (or even before, if you just want to browse), switch to the "Community ranking" tab to see the most-voted card in every color and rarity slot, with vote counts and percentages. Here's the live ranking for The Hobbit as an example — the same one used in the video.
A preview of this ranking now also shows up right on the MTG Picker home page for the newest set, so you can check the community's favorites without even opening the picker.
