Draft & Sealed Synergies

Best cards to pair with Winter, Team Player in Reality Fracture limited

common

No Admittance

Sorcery

Winter's convoke ability lets creatures tap to help cast noncreature spells, and No Admittance is a noncreature spell that triggers Winter's buff to all creatures, making your team larger for the next attack.

Protege's Awakening

Sorcery

Protege's Awakening is a noncreature spell that triggers Winter's +1/+0 buff to all creatures, and convoke can help cast it using your creature tokens, while the card draw finds more spells to keep triggering Winter.

Cast Away Doubt

Sorcery

Cast Away Doubt draws two cards and is a noncreature spell that triggers Winter's creature buff, and convoke can offset the 2 damage to each player by using creatures to reduce the mana cost.

uncommon

Prudent Fateseer // Peer Review

Creature — Dwarf Wizard // Sorcery

Peer Review creates a Cadet token and surveils, and Winter's noncreature spell trigger gives all creatures +1/+0, so casting Peer Review via convoke (using existing creatures) creates a new creature while buffing your whole team.

rare

"I've been pulling the strings the whole time!"

Creature — Human Artificer

This Artificer taps two untapped artifacts to put +1/+1 counters on itself, and Winter's convoke lets you use creatures to cast noncreature spells cheaply, freeing up mana to activate the Artificer's ability repeatedly.
